day 4 & 5 = on the road to louisville, ky

now on our way to kentucky!

love the drive into ky.  so many trees everywhere.

found this bar/diner next to our hotel.  turned out to have really good fried green tomatoes :)

went to downtown louisville and walked around.  went past the original louisville slugger.

thats a big bat!

awesome building downtown

i shrunk :)

slugger factory.  they were making pink bats.

an awesome museum.  love that they painted the building blue.
drove past churchill downs.  was a bit disappointing because the area surrounding was dumpy.  not at all what i expected going there.  but im sure it pretty inside the grounds.

then took a drive to visit the temple...

 pretty windows

best pick i could get of us :)
at night we went to see the temple. such a cute little temple and it shares the same parking lot as the church building.
 goodnight to day 4....

hello day 5, in louisville.

we went to our zappos fullfilment center and took an awesome tour.  that place is crazy big and sooooooo many shoe boxes.  we are lucky we got to see it before its switches over to amazon in a few months.

we went to dinner with grace who was our tour guide at zfc .  she took us to this awesome restaurant that is in the basement of house.  great menu!

my delish elk burger!

for day 6... we took one last stop before exiting louisville.  we went to lynns paradise that has been on bobby flay throwdown.

how about these used tea bags held up by suspenders.... nutsy
